Rose Bowl

Wolf Garrett finished out his collegiate career this weekend with a 31-18 win over Ohio State in the Rose Bowl. Garrett threw for 213 yards with 3 touchdowns and 1 INT. He also added another TD on the ground running for 52 yards. The game was never close. Oregon scored on it's first two possessions as well as a defensive score. The team jumped out to a quick 21-3 lead at halftime and never looked back.

This was the only BCS bowl game Oregon made it to in Wolf's four year stellar career. He said that this season was "more than I could have hoped for in some ways, and less in others." Wolf here was referring to the fact that the Ducks missed the BCS championship game because of 1 loss. "I'm disappointed we didn't make it to the 'big one,' but it is nice to end my career with a W."

An NFL scout told me that Wolf will likely be drafted in the top 5, "There aren't many athletes that play like Wolf does. We are excited to see him in the NFL, as I know that the fans are. He is exceptional with the potential to make an impact immediately." When asked about his place in the draft all Wolf had to say was, "That would be awesome."

Wolf ended his collegiate career on a high note, let's hope he won't lose a step when he enters the NFL.
